In 1963 the scientist Hans-Georg Wiedemann and the industrialist Erhart Mettler decided to build a furnace and a data acquisition system around a balance.
By doing so, the TA1 / TA2 was born!
Though introduced as one of the first modern instruments for thermal analysis, the possibilities and specifications of the TA1 and TA2 are still very competitive:
- the resolution is in the microgram area
- the total sample mass reaches the gram area
- with a full set of furnaces, a temperature range from liquid nitrogen (-196 ºC) to +2400 ºC is achievable
Therefore, Anatech wants to provide all users with the necessary tools to keep these solid instruments alive.
